Literature Text
Me and my girls clear a circle in the excited crowd of kids. I take my nook out of its leather cover and attach it to my speaker. It's a tiny thing, but trust me, its eardrum-shattering if you're not careful. Choosing a track at random, I dash into position as the music starts and start doing something that always comes naturally to me. I dance. My girls are right behind me, synching their moves with mine and trying to recall the routine. At the end, we all pose dramatically and pop up giggling when the last notes of the music fade away. There's cheer and booing in equal measures. Even though we're passable dancers, most of the other kids in our grade are haters. They call us freaks and wierdos and we just laugh it off. It's really hilarious to watch.

Me and some of my friends are just chillin' outside the club, we got nothing better to do. We talked and joked around for awhile, but now toward the end of the street at the intersection there's a crowd of people, mostly middle-schoolers it looks like, gathering around something. Its too far to tell whats going on, so my good buddy Angel says to my other buddy Mo, "Hey man why don't you go check it out?"
"Why doesn't Glitch do it?"
"Why don't you come with me?" I retort, crossing my arms.
"Fine. Come on shorty let's go!" He walks off down the street, looking back to make sure I'm following. I hurry to catch up.

The crowd disperses but two guys, a tall black guy and a short asian kid are left.

The Devolution Device
Rose Windborn wasn’t the smartest genius in the world, but she was one nonetheless. Her assistant, Kriss Thompson, was an unrepentant criminal loaned to Rose on the condition that by the end of the experiment, Kriss would no longer be human. They worked well together.
Or so Rose thought.
“So, this part goes here?” Kriss looked up to the scientist with a proud grin, holding one of the last components to what Rose had simply labeled ‘the device’.
The doctor grinned, nodding eagerly. In all honesty, she hadn’t expected a convict to be so well-behaved, especially when threatened with the prospect of devoluti

A PaigeMeMore Story
(Woman to Varying Levels of Cyborg)
Paige looked to Nicole anxiously, wondering where the woman was going with her current train of thought and realizing that the engine had started before any tracks were laid. Training with the witch was always a novel experience, namely because of the fact that she, surprisingly, was a massive nerd.
Case in point: today’s exercise. Nicole grinned from ear to ear at her friend, watching the woman shift a little uneasily. “Today, we’re going to teach you a little thing about cyborgs in the forty-first millennium.”
“Oh, great.” Paige muttered, distinc

Mall Justice (TF Shortie)
Wendy stalked up to the blond with a scowl on her face and fire in her eyes. The girl might have been an ordinary mallgoing brunette to some people, but to Wendy she was the flirt that kept harassing her boyfriend. And a magically-minded girl like Wendy had more than a few things to say about that, the first of which was a loud: “Hey you!”
Not the most eloquent manner of catching someone’s attention, but it certainly got the job done. The brunette, a woman by the name of Alex, turned with a small frown on her face. “Can I help you?” She asked, not knowing the karmic justice that would be unleashed today.
