Oblio's back garden was the most serene place Dare had ever seen. Three bright cherry trees stood watch over a little pool with an even smaller island in the middle. There was a low wooden platform on the island, and a similar one in the closest tree. Some kind of vines hung down from trellises that were way too small and reached out to grab the trees.  They hung low to touch the pond in some places, and stretched to the canopy on others. Dare loved it.
     "This is amazing Oblio."
"I'm glad you think so. Come on." He led her to the center of the oasis and leaped easily over the moat of green pond water. Dare had a little more trouble, and ended up almost overshooting it. Oblio caught her and she nodded gratefully.
"Don't fall in the water, I'm sure the fish wouldn't appreciate it, and I doubt you'd like being sopping wet."
She grinned a bit sheepishly. "Why would you ever go anywhere else when this place is so perfect?"
     "After awhile, it gets… old."
     "How could this get old?"
     "It's hard to explain."
"I see. So, how did you get the money to build this?"
"That's the other part of my house you haven't seen, but don't worry about that now. Sit." Oblio instructed before leaping off the island and taking up a position in the tree.
     "What-"
     "Sit."
"Oh, alright." Dare sat with her legs to one side like she always did.
"Like this." He sat lotus- style on his perch.
"Alright! Why are you being so picky?"
"It'll make sense soon, I promise."
     "I hope so, I'm confused."
     "That's okay. Breath slowly."
"We're not going to do yoga are we?"
     "No, but it's close."
"Crap. I flunked that segment in gym."
     "I was there."
     "Oh yeah…"
     "Focus, Dare."
"Right." She breathed in slowly and exhaled loudly.
     "Quietly."
"Stop nagging!" She breathed in again, and this time when she exhaled Oblio could barely hear it.
     "Good. Keep it up."
They both sat in the same position for over an hour before Dare began to fidget.
     "I'm hungry."
     "Alright, let's go eat."
He back flipped out of the tree and helped Dare off the island. They both went inside to eat.
